Michael built his career around a love for the land and a desire to help others take care of it for the future.
He is passionate about forestry, land management, and all things outdoors. After earning a degree in Forest Resource Management from Clemson University, he spent a decade working as a forestry consultant before starting Kantz Land Management, LLC.
He is a SAF Certified Forester, Land Agent, and Registered Forester in both South Carolina and Georgia. Living just minutes from the state line allows him to work actively with landowners in both states.
Michael and his wife Margaret Ann are blessed with a growing family that they raise in their hometown of North Augusta, South Carolina. When he's not working, you'll usually find Michael fishing, making music, or spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Michael believes in working hard, staying grounded, and enjoying what the land has to offer.
