Todd Crosby
After honorably serving in the United States Air Force, Todd began his career in the forest industry in 1993 with a small, privately owned family business. Over the next nine years, he gained valuable hands-on experience in timber procurement and private land management, setting the stage for his transition into land brokerage.
In 2002, Todd joined Shaw, McLeod, Belser and Hurlbutt, a firm that later became American Forest Management, one of the largest forestry management and land brokerage companies in the U.S. Over 16 successful years, he built a strong reputation for his deep understanding of rural land, from timber and agriculture to investment and recreation.
In 2018, Todd founded Crosby Land Company, Inc., driven by a desire to provide a more tailored and client-focused approach. Licensed in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina, the firm specializes in high-end sporting properties, agricultural land, historical estates, conservation tracts, and investment-grade timberland.
A dedicated conservationist, Todd has personally placed conservation easements on his property, Holly Bluff, located in South Carolina’s ecologically significant ACE Basin. His first-hand experience gives him the insight to guide clients through complex conservation decisions, helping them achieve both financial goals and long-term land stewardship.
Todd and his wife, Melissa, reside at Holly Bluff with their four children, where they live out their passion for the land and its preservation.
