Danny Loyd
Danny is an Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) graduate with an associate degree in forestry. He began his forestry career in 1997 with Forest Resource Consultants, one of the Southeast's largest forestry consulting firms. His time there taught him many valuable aspects of land and timber management.
After several years, he transitioned into timber procurement as an area manager for pine and hardwood sawmills in middle and south Georgia. In 2014, he took a position as timber procurement manager for a large sawmill in the middle Georgia area. He remained in this position for several years until the company sold, at which time he decided to pursue other interests.
In 2022, Danny started Oconee Forestry Services, LLC, where he currently manages timberland for several private landowners around middle Georgia. He is a Georgia Registered Forester, a Certified Prescribed Burn Manager, and a member of the Georgia Forestry Association.
Danny lives in Dublin, Georgia, with his wife Amber and his son Nelson.
