Mike McGowan
Mike was born and raised in Long County, Georgia, on 5th generation family land. He received an associate's degree from Brewton Parker College and a bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University in Human Resource Management. Mike spent 42 years in the pulp and paper industry, working with both paper and wood procurement groups. He served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Paper and Forest Products Association, four terms as Long County Commissioner, Chairman of the Wiregrass 911 Board of Directors and many years as a member of the Rotary Club of Liberty County. In early 2000, Mike and his wife Terri purchased the family property, which previously operated as a family farm and small sawmill, and converted it into timber production. Over the years T&Me Farms, LLC has continued to grow and expand into other types of land ownership over the years. When he's not busy buying, selling, and managing land, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.
