The Black River Preserve 2 is located in Clarendon County, approximately 9 miles north of Manning, SC. The 448 acres offered are entirely wooded in natural bottomland hardwood and neighbor nearly 750 acres of agriculture fields, which are not included with this offering. The fields are planted annually in corn or soybeans; these highly productive fields are a natural magnet for all wild game, including deer, turkeys, and hogs, which are plentiful in the region.

The neighboring property is enrolled in a Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) easement. The Black River Preserve 2 is not enrolled and is unaffected by the easement, allowing the next owner to take this blank canvas and create their ideal hunting grounds. This is an excellent candidate for the installation of waterfowl impoundments and/or other wildlife food plots. In addition, the next owner may want to take advantage of the financial incentives by enrolling this property into a WRP as well.
