Pleasant Grove
Description
The Pleasant Grove tract consists of 1721+/- acres of highly productive timberland located in NE Colleton County, approximately 30 miles West of Summerville, SC.
The vast majority of this acreage was formerly owned and managed by the Mead- Westvaco Corp.; during that time the property was improved and managed to maximize its utility as well as timber production . The results of this management are now apparent with over 1,104 acres of merchantable pine plantation, 113 acres of pre-merch, and 218 acres of mature natural pine; this tract is now poised for sustainable revenue streams for years to come.
While Pleasant Grove was not actively being marketed, Crosby Land Company Inc. was entrusted by the seller to bring about a qualified buyer that would recognize the quality of this tract, be willing to invest in the full market value of the asset, and close the transaction.
Crosby Land Co. Inc was privileged to serve in that role and as a result, both the buyer and seller were benefactors of our unique skill set, experience, and our expansive breadth of contacts .
