Whisky Bluff

Description

Whisky Bluff is a magnificent 467 +/-acre tract on the south banks of the Ogeechee River, just 10 minutes from downtown Louisville, Georgia. The most unique feature is a high bluff of around 50 feet that drops straight down into the river. Like most tracts on the Ogeechee, there is also a floodable river swamp full of mature hardwood timber. Half of the tract is on the hill and includes a 30-year-old planted Loblolly Pine that has never been thinned. There are also two stands of unthinned Slash Pine that grew back naturally from the sites being clear-cut 30 years ago. The mature Upland Hardwood is similar to hilly Piedmont or Mountain Hardwood. These stands are full of magnificent large White Oaks that are too numerous to count. The tract also has a modern 3-bedroom house as well as equipment sheds.
